Actions: Gentle laxative with detoxifying properties which can stimulate bile release and aid digestion. Typically used for cleansing, particularly of skin conditions such as eczema, acne and fungal infections.
Description: Detoxifying and cleansing properties can aid with skin conditions including
eczema, acne and fungal infections. Combined with its gently laxative and bile stimulating properties it can improve digestive problems, particularly constipation in both children and adults. If combined with an increase in dietary fibre it can reduce the absorption of toxins and waste products and hence improve gut and overall health.
Yellow dock is commonly combined with chamomile, burdock root and dandelion to increase its purifying and detoxifying effect. Combined with liquorice and peppermint it may further increase gut health and function.
