Description: Traditionally known for its use to treat arthritic and rheumatic pains, particularly
of the back, knees, joints and hips. Its anti-inflammatory, painkilling and anti- rheumatic properties assist with these conditions, as well as having been used for osteoarthritis and lower back pain.
White willow has been used to treat high fevers and reduce headaches. This cooling herb may also prove useful in treating menopausal symptoms as it can reduce sweating and hence aid with hot flushes and night sweats.
