Description: Flavonoids contained in English breakfast tea aid the body to fight free radicals, which can reduce the risk for cancer and other diseases, as well as slow the ageing process. Some research indicated that it may reduce artery blockage thus improving circulation and reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes. It can also help to reduce cholesterol levels and strengthen bones due to its magnesium and phosphorus content.
Further research indicated that compounds found within English breakfast tea can improve memory function, reaction time and concentration. It may also reduce stress levels. The highest benefits for English breakfast tea are found when taken without any milk or sugar and at moderate doses, due to its caffeine content.
